7:30PM Speaker Tammy Renaud "Animal Assisted Therapy"
Tammy has her MA in Psychology and BS in Occupational Therapy.
She is an Occupational Therapist with more than 12 years incorporating
animals in the healing process. She is with Jumpstart Therapies
near Austin and is developing an Animal Assisted Therapy program
with a pediatric facility in Killeen.
Tammy is a Delta Society Pet Partners Team instructor and Evaluator.
Tammy also provides consulting to individuals and groups interested
in starting their own Animal Assisted Therapy programs both
in the U.S. and internationally.
Tammy adopted Chief, a golden-saluki mix, from Golden Beginnings
and is training him to work as a Therapy Dog at a pediatric
