Please join us this weekend as the Greater Houston Golden Retriever Club and Golden Beginnings golden Retriever Rescue welcome special guest, mystery author and dog rescuer David Rosenfelt back to Houston on Saturday evening, August 28. David will present Dog Tags, the latest novel in his Andy Carpenter series, featuring the smart-mouthed attorney and his beloved rescued golden retriever Tara.

David is passionate about goldens and rescue, and he and his wife share their California home with around 30 senior and special needs dogs (See the YouTube video.) He's a great speaker, and the evening will also feature a delicious buffet from Bayou City Seafood 'n' Pasta (the menu will include: Caesar Salad w/grilled Artichokes, Jumbo Cajun Boiled Shrimp, Shrimp, Jumbo Crab, Mango & Avocado Ceviche, Pasta Justice, Pasta Zeus, Pasta Kimberly, Shrimp, Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya and fabulous desserts provided by GBGRR and GHGRC volunteers) a fun raffle and a silent auction.
